Montana PBS’s new documentary, Clearing the Smoke, reveals how cannabis
acts on the brain and in the body to treat nausea, pain, epilepsy and
potentially even cancer. Extensive interviews with patients, doctors,
researchers and skeptics detail the promises and the limitations of
medicinal cannabis.
The cancer-killing properties of marijuana were the subject of
discussion in a PBS documentary that aired this week to little media
fanfare.
While using marijuana to kill cancer may sound like a wild claim to
some, it struck Dr. Prakash Nagarkatti as a great idea. In his studies
as professor of pathology and microbiology for the University of South
Carolina, he tested synthetic cannabis drugs on cancer cells and
developed a formula that was able to completely eradicate cancer cells
in a test tube.
A follow-up on mice afflicted with cancer found that up to 30 percent in
the test group completely rejected their disease, while others had
their tumors significantly reduced. The same drug is now being tested on
humans with Leukemia.
But it’s not just Dr. Nagarkatti who sees the medical value of
marijuana: it’s the whole pharmaceutical industry. And that’s another
point the documentary makes, examining the patents various companies
have filed, and what they claim marijuana-based drugs could one day be
used to treat.

uniforms from the blue-suited cop with an 8-sided hat with a shield on
front to a set of black or navy fatigues and a ball cap. They started
shaving their heads and pumping iron. They gave up on the idea that they
put themselves in the line of fire to protect and serve the public and
took on a combat marine attitude of protect their own above all else.
I’ve known them to murder cop-killers in the street, but have a
could-care-less attitude when a civilian is killed.”

The Corporation is a 2003 Canadian documentary movie was authored by Joel Bakan, and directed by Mark Achbar and Jennifer Abbott.
The film presents an entire overview about the way business enterprises
have changed much of our lives may perhaps greater than any
feature-length movie can provide. From the damaging impact of pollution
on the biosphere, to the treatment received by whistleblowers,
globalization, cheap labor on sweatshops, the privatization of our
valuable resources, the evil patenting of life forms and misleading
marketing. This documentary shows exactly how pervasive and also
destructive the greedy corporations have been.
The filmmakers illustrates the growth and
development of the modern business corporation, coming from a legal
entity in which was initially a government-chartered institution
designed to effect particular public functions, towards the growth of
the modern commercial companies entitled to almost all of the legal
rights a person can have. Given that a corporation is legitimately
defined as a person, we should ask what kind of a person this
corporation might be.
A fascinating approach that the directors did is to go along the listing of behaviors mentioned on the Diagnostic
Handbook of Mental Disorders in which
specify the psychopathic character as well as indicate how the
corporation possesses those insane behaviors such as criminal disregard
towards the welfare of human beings and feels no empathy about it.
Without a doubt, Corporations feel no morals whenever they commit
unlawful acts. Their solely concern is when disobeying the law is
profitable.
The Cocaine Cowboys I is one of the most interesting crime
documentaries ever filmed. And the main reason for this relays on real
story behind the scenes and their real protagonists. This is the story
of how cocaine first entered the United States in huge amounts,
substituted the widely spread consume of pot and became what it is
today, a multibillion dollar business, a large scale industry to satisfy
the needs of greedy traffickers at both sides of the border and the
lust of the consumers. How it eventually became a blood thirsty
business, on how this industry kept relocating itself once the heat was
too much to handle in some centers, on how smoking guns were the ones
settling the terms in this business, on how technology was an organic
part of smuggling the substance into USA and on how the traffickers on
all parts saw their lives changed at first to become millionaires in
months and latter on to see themselves staring the 2 by 2 square meters
of a federal penitentiary if they were lucky enough to make it that far
and negotiate with the state a deal.

In this documentary review I will go over
art and reality, on the film itself and add some critics on my own as
well, while mentioning as well other sources that add more information

of a documentaries blog or a movies blog, for more and more I get my
hicks from the real thing, that happens to be more creative and more
drastic than the invented stuff in some movies.
The set of all this heat was Miami,
Florida. A quiet and peaceful community for the elderly in the sixties,
where marijuana was already accepted as the drug of the people, but it
reached to the point where there was so much of it that the dealer
couldn’t sell it all. This city, filled with people from Spanish
speaking countries, became the capital of cocaine in the United States.
Cocaine Cowboys chronicles the
development of the illegal drug trade in Miami during the 1970s and
1980s with interviews of both law enforcement and organized crime
leaders, in addition to news footage from the era. The film reveals that
in the 1960s and early 1970s, marijuana was the primary import drug
into the region. During the 1970s, marijuana imports were replaced by
the much more lucrative cocaine imports. Drug importers reveal several
of the different methods used to import the drugs into Florida. The
primary methods used to import the narcotics were by boat or by air. The
drug importers also reveal the complexity of their methods of
importation. The logistics involved with the importation included the
purchase and financing of legitimate businesses to provide cover for
illegal operations, the use of sophisticated electronic homing devices,
and other elaborate transportation schemes. The distribution networks
were also highly elaborate, and many people were involved locally and
nationally in the consumption of the imported cocaine. Importers reveal
that condominiums were purchased near particular ocean waterways to
provide a monitoring post for Coast Guard and local police patrol boats.
Importers reveal the use of high-tech radio monitoring equipment used
to monitor the radio frequencies of Federal, State, and local
authorities in order to warn incoming boats and airplanes.
The film reveals that much of the economic growth which took place in
Miami during this time period was a benefit of the drug trade. As
members of the drug trade made immense amounts of money, this money
flowed in large amounts into legitimate businesses. As a result, drug
money indirectly financed the construction of many of the modern
high-rise buildings in southern Florida. Later, when law enforcement
pressure drove many major players out of the picture, many high-end
stores and businesses closed because of plummeting sales.
Also documented in the film is the gangland violence associated with the
trade. The interviewees in the film argue that Griselda Blanco, an
infamous crime family matriarch, played a major role in the history of
the drug trade in Miami and other cities across America. It was the
lawless and corrupt atmosphere, primarily from Blanco's operations, that
led to the gangsters' being dubbed the "Cocaine Cowboys".
740 Park Ave, New York City, is home to some of the wealthiest
Americans. Across the Harlem River, 10 minutes to the north, is the
other Park Avenue in South Bronx, where more than half the population
needs food stamps and children are 20 times more likely to be killed. In
the last 30 years, inequality has rocketed in the US — the American
Dream only applies to those with money to lobby politicians for friendly
bills on Capitol Hill.
The International Medical Veritas
Association (IMVA) is putting hemp oil on its cancer protocol. It is a
prioritized protocol list whose top five items are magnesium chloride,
iodine, selenium, Alpha Lipoic Acid and sodium bicarbonate. It makes
perfect sense to drop hemp oil right into the middle of this nutritional
crossfire of anti cancer medicines, which are all available without
prescription.
Hemp oil has long been recognised as one
of the most versatile and beneficial substances known to man. Derived
from hemp seeds (a member of the achene family of fruits) it has been
regarded as a superfood due to its high essential fatty acid content and
the unique ratio of omega3 to omega6 and gamma linolenic acid (GLA) –
2:5:1. Hemp oil, is known to contain up to 5% of pure GLA, a much higher
concentration than any other plant, even higher than spirulina. For
thousands of years, the hemp plant has been used in elixirs and
medicinal teas because of its healing properties and now medical science
is zeroing in on the properties of its active substances.
Both the commercial legal type of hemp
oil and the illegal THC laden hemp oil are one of the most power-packed
protein sources available in the plant kingdom. Its oil can be used in
many nutritional and transdermal applications. In other chapters in my
Winning the War on Cancer book we will discuss in-depth about GLA and
cancer and also the interesting work of Dr. Johanna Budwig. She uses
flax seed oil instead of hemp oil to cure cancer – through effecting
changes in cell walls – using these omega3 and omega6 laden medicinal
oils.
Actually there is another way to use
medical marijuana without smoking the leaf. According to Dr. Tod H.
Mikuriya, “The usual irritating and toxic breakdown products of burning
utilized with smoking are totally avoided with vaporization. Extraction
and inhaling cannabinoid essential oils below ignition temperature of
both crude and refined cannabis products affords significant mitigation
of irritation to the oral cavity, and tracheobronchial tree from
pyrollytic breakdown products.[iii]
Rick Simpson, the man in the documentary
below, has been making hemp oil and sharing it with friends and
neighbors without charging for it. In small doses, he says, it makes you
well without getting you high. “Well you can’t deny your own eyes can
you?” Simpson asks. “Here’s someone dying of cancer and they’re not
dying anymore. I don’t care if the medicine comes from a tomato plant,
potato plant or a hemp plant, if the medicine is safe and helps and
works, why not use it?” he asks.
When a person has cancer and is dying
this question reaches a critical point. The bravery of Rick Simpson from
Canada in showing us how to make hemp oil for ourselves offers many
people a hope that should be increasingly appreciated as money dries up
for expensive cancer treatments. We are going to need inexpensive
medicines in the future and there is nothing better than the ones we can
make reasonably cheaply ourselves.
For most people in the world it is
illegal so the choice could come down to breaking the law or dying.
There is no research to indicate what advantages oral use of hemp oil
vs. vaporization but we can assume that advantage would be nutritional
with oral intake. Dr. Budwig Below work would sustain this point of view
especially for cancer patients.
The Science
According to Dr. Robert Ramer and Dr.
Burkhard Hinz of the University of Rostock in Germany medical marijuana
can be an effective treatment for cancer.[v] Their research was
published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute Advance Access
on December 25th of 2007 in a paper entitled Inhibition of Cancer Cell
Invasion by Cannabinoids via Increased Expression of Tissue Inhibitor of
Matrix Metalloproteinases-1.
The biggest contribution of this
breakthrough discovery, is that the expression of TIMP-1 was shown to be
stimulated by cannabinoid receptor activation and to mediate the
anti-invasive effect of cannabinoids. Prior to now the cellular
mechanisms underlying this effect were unclear and the relevance of the
findings to the behavior of tumor cells in vivo remains to be
determined.
Marijuana cuts lung cancer tumor growth
in half, a 2007 Harvard Medical School study shows.[vi] The active
ingredient in marijuana cuts tumor growth in lung cancer in half and
significantly reduces the ability of the cancer to spread, say
researchers at Harvard University who tested the chemical in both lab
and mouse studies.
This is the first set of experiments to
show that the compound, Delta-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), inhibits
EGF-induced growth and migration in epidermal growth factor receptor
(EGFR) expressing non-small cell lung cancer cell lines. Lung cancers
that over-express EGFR are usually highly aggressive and resistant to
chemotherapy. THC that targets cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2 is
similar in function to endocannabinoids, which are cannabinoids that are
naturally produced in the body and activate these receptors.
“The beauty of this study is that we are
showing that a substance of abuse, if used prudently, may offer a new
road to therapy against lung cancer,” said Anju Preet, Ph.D., a
researcher in the Division of Experimental Medicine. Acting through
cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2, endocannabinoids (as well as THC) are
thought to play a role in variety of biological functions, including
pain and anxiety control, and inflammation.
Researchers reported in the August 15,
2004 issue of Cancer Research, the journal of the American Association
for Cancer Research, that marijuana’s constituents inhibited the spread
of brain cancer in human tumor biopsies.[vii] In a related development, a
research team from the University of South Florida further noted that
THC can also selectively inhibit the activation and replication of gamma
herpes viruses. The viruses, which can lie dormant for years within
white blood cells before becoming active and spreading to other cells,
are thought to increase one’s chances of developing cancers such as
Kaposi’s Sarcoma, Burkitt’s lymphoma and Hodgkin’s disease.[viii]
In 1998, a research team at Madrid’s
Complutense University discovered that THC can selectively induce
programmed cell death in brain tumor cells without negatively impacting
surrounding healthy cells. Then in 2000, they reported in the journal
Nature Medicine that injections of synthetic THC eradicated malignant
gliomas (brain tumors) in one-third of treated rats, and prolonged life
in another third by six weeks.[ix]
Led by Dr. Manuel Guzman the Spanish team
announced they had destroyed incurable brain cancer tumors in rats by
injecting them with THC. They reported in the March 2002 issue of
“Nature Medicine” that they injected the brains of 45 rats with cancer
cells, producing tumors whose presence they confirmed through magnetic
resonance imaging (MRI). On the 12th day they injected 15 of the rats
with THC and 15 with Win-55,212-2 a synthetic compound similar to
THC.[x]
Researchers at the University of Milan in
Naples, Italy, reported in the Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental
Therapeutics that non-psychoactive compounds in marijuana inhibited the
growth of glioma cells in a dose-dependent manner, and selectively
targeted and killed malignant cells through apoptosis. “Non-psychoactive
CBD produce[s] a significant anti-tumor activity both in vitro and in
vivo, thus suggesting a possible application of CBD as an antineoplastic
agent.”[xi]
The first experiment documenting pot’s
anti-tumor effects took place in 1974 at the Medical College of Virginia
at the behest of the U.S. government. The results of that study,
reported in an Aug. 18, 1974, Washington Post newspaper feature, were
that marijuana’s psychoactive component, THC, “slowed the growth of lung
cancers, breast cancers and a virus-induced leukemia in laboratory
mice, and prolonged their lives by as much as 36 percent.”[xii]
Funded by the National Institute of
Health to find evidence that marijuana damages the immune system, found
instead that THC slowed the growth of three kinds of cancer in mice —
lung and breast cancer, and a virus-induced leukemia. The DEA quickly
shut down the Virginia study and all further cannabis/tumor research
even though the researchers “found that THC slowed the growth of lung
cancers, breast cancers and a virus-induced leukemia in laboratory mice,
and prolonged their lives by as much as 36 percent.”
“Antineoplastic Activity of
Cannabinoids,” an article in a 1975 Journal of the National Cancer
Institute reports, “Lewis lung adenocarcinoma growth was retarded by the
oral administration of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabinol (CBN)”
— two types of cannabinoids, a family of active components in
marijuana. “Mice treated for 20 consecutive days with THC and CBN had
reduced primary tumor size.”
Marijuana relieves pain that narcotics like morphine and OxyContin
have hardly any effect on, and could help ease suffering from
illnesses such as multiple sclerosis, diabetes and cancer.[xiii]
According to Devra Davis in her book
Secret History of the War on Cancer, 1.5 million lives have been lost
because Americans failed to act on existing knowledge about the
environmental causes of cancer. It is impossible to calculate the added
deaths from suppressed ‘cancer cures’ but we do know of the terrible
suffering of hundreds of thousands of people who have been jailed for
marijuana use.
Hemp oil with THC included has the making
of a primary cancer treatment, which even alone seems to have a great
chance of turning the tide against cancer tumors. It has the added
advantage of safety, ease of use, lack of side effects and low cost if
one makes it oneself. Surrounded by other medicinal anti-cancer
substances in a full protocol it’s hard to imagine anyone failing and
falling in their war on cancer.
THC should be included in every cancer protocol.
Sodium bicarbonate is another excellent
anti tumor substance that reduces tumors but is much more difficult to
administer than THC hemp oil. Cannabinoids are able to pass through all
barriers in the body like Alpha Lipoic Acid so simple oral intake is
sufficient. With bicarbonate we need intravenous applications and often
even this is not sufficient, often we have to use catheters and few
doctors in the world are willing to administer this way.
In the end all cancer treatments that are
not promoted by mainstream oncology are illegal. No licensed doctor is
going to claim that are curing cancer with sodium bicarbonate though
they will treat people with cancer explaining they are balancing pH or
some other metabolic profile with this common emergency room medicine
found also most kitchens of the world. More than several states have
passed laws making medical marijuana legal but the federal government
will not relax and let people be free to choose their treatments even if
their lives depend on it.
Davis notes that the cowardice of
research scientists, who publish thoroughly referenced reports but pull
their punches at the end, by claiming that more research needs to be
done before action can be taken. Statements like these are exploited by
industry that buys time to make much more money. It is a deliberate
attempt that creates wholesale public doubt from small data gaps and
remaining scientific uncertainties.
They have done that with everything right
up to and including sunlight. Everything is thought to be dangerous
except the pharmaceutical drugs which are the most dangerous substances
of all. Stomach wrenching chemotherapy and the death principle of
radiation are legal yet safe THC laden hemp oil is not.
It is legal for doctors to attack people
with their poisons but you can go to jail for trying to save yourself or
a loved one from cancer with the oil of a simple garden weed. Our
civilization has put up with this insanity but there is a great price
being paid. In a mad medical world people die that need not and this is a
terrible sadness that has destroyed the integrity and ethics of modern
medicine.
The science for the use of hemp oil is
credible, specific fact-based, and is documented in detail.[xiv] There
is absolutely no reason to not legalize medical marijuana and create an
immediate production and distribution of THC hemp oil to cancer
patients. Unfortunately we live in a world populated with governments
and medical henchmen who would rather see people die cruel deaths then
have access to a safe and effect cancer drug.
Meanwhile the Food and Drug
Administration approved Genentech’s best-selling drug, Avastin, as a
treatment for breast cancer, in a decision, according to the New York
Times, “that appeared to lower the threshold somewhat for approval of
certain cancer drugs. The big question was whether it was enough for a
drug temporarily to stop cancer from worsening — as Avastin had done in a
clinical trial — or was it necessary for a drug to enable patients to
live longer, which Avastin had failed to do. Oncologists and patient
advocates were divided, in part because of the drug’s sometimes severe
side effects.”[xv]
The differences between Avastin and hemp
oil are huge. First Avastin will earn Genentech hundreds of millions
where THC hemp oil will earn no one anything. Second there are no severe
or even mild side effects to taking hemp oil and lastly it is not a
temporary answer but a real solution. Certainly hemp oil will ensure a
longer life.
It looks like another tragedy of massive proportions has hit America once again.
The damage is done. These photos are some
of the most gruesome ever recorded from any event, wartime or
otherwise. Now the big question is: who will be blamed?
Examine the evidence and then decide.
Readers and people who are concerned about the FACTS surrounding this
sensational incident in Boston, MA yesterday, should be able to make up
their own minds as to what they believe really happened, or more
importantly -what didn’t happen at the finish line of the 2013 Boston Marathon. Smart
readers already know what national talking points are set to follow
this, what looks very much like a staged event. Hint: “Patriot’s Day’.
Patriot’s Day, historically on April 19th, also magically coincides with the Branch Davidiancompound slaughter at Waco, Texas, and the Oklahoma City bombing
(both are arguably federal government cover-ups), so it doesn’t take a
genius to guess that Eric Holder and the Department of Justice will be
running point on all the talking points related to this crime scene,
perhaps claiming that this week was some sort of ‘rallying cry’ for a radical right-wing anti-government group, or more likely – a lone gunman.
April 15 is also ‘Tax Day’, when federal income tax returns are due to be filed.
Looks like a perfectly scripted slam dunk for the DOJ, no?
The overseas terrorist narrative was
hinted at initially, with Richard DesLauriers, special agent in charge
of the FBI’s Boston Division stating:”We will go to the ends of the
Earth to identify the subject or subjects who are responsible for this
despicable crime — and we will do everything we can to bring them to
justice,” but it does not appear obvious from the onset that ‘al Qaeda’ will
be used as the principle actor for this terror event – as we would’ve
already had reports of Korans, Arabs driving vans and Arab driving
licenses found at the scene of the explosions, and an obscure Arabic
website hosted from a proxy server out of India taking credit for the
attack. You can also probably rule out both North Korea, or Iran as Washington culprits. Nor will the DOJ be inquiring whether or not this event was in any way a ‘inside job’.They will most likely, in lock step with the White House, instead be focusing 100% on the new heightened threat of ‘domestic terrorists’ in the United States.
Also, look out for this talking point in the coming days: “the culprits may be domestic terrorists as Americans who have converted to Islam”.
Also expect that anyone questioning the
official government story of this incident will be accused of being
‘insensitive’, ‘un-American’, and of course, a wild ‘conspiracy
theorist’. This very debate on CNN, MSNBC and other major outlets will
at some point be pushing the issue of shutting down internet or social
media commentators who are calling this ‘an inside job’.
We strongly believe that in the aftermath
of this event, only one explanation, and only one narrative will be
accepted in public discourse regarding the Boston Bombing, and this will
be the official one. Expect the corporate media and the
federal government to come down hard on any objections this time – an
assertion which is based on the build-up to discrediting the alternative
media after the Sandy Hook event.
Watch to see if the complete cycle of this latest horror drama has actually been calculated from start to finish…
So… it’s time again to ramp-up US
domestic security and surveillance, give up more of your rights, and
don’t even think about touching the budgets of the DHS, TSA or the US military.

Prior to 1775, the area that is now
the eastern part of the United States mainly consisted of British
colonies controlled by the United Kingdom. The American Revolutionary
War, also known as the American War of Independence, was a major step in
the independence of the United States. The first battles in this war
were fought in the areas of Lexington and Concord, near Boston,
Massachusetts, on April 19, 1775.
For this reason, the third Monday in April is symbolic for the emerging independence of the new country.
Paul Revere is among the patriots who are
remembered on Patriot’s Day. The American silversmith is known for
spreading the word of the Boston Tea Party to New York and Philadelphia,
and for warning the Lexington Minutemen about the British invasion in
1775. The story of his “midnight” ride to Lexington to discuss action
plans against the British has been poeticized.
An act to amend the Tennessee code
regarding Patriot’s Day took effect in 2008. The state’s code now
officially includes the holiday and mentions that its governor proclaims
April 19 of each year as Patriot’s Day. This day is still not a public
holiday in Tennessee. Patriots’ Day is also known as Patriot’s Day and
Patriots Day.patriots day in Boston. There was also a Boston
Red Sox game nearby. There were at least 3 explosives found near the
Boston Marathon finish line.
There were also reports of several suspicious packages, as well as a“suspicious person” who
was denied entrance into the Boston Marathon five minutes before the
event began. The man is described as a black male, dressed in black with
a black backpack. After he was denied entrance he put on his black hood
and walked off with an I-Pod or a similar device.
More reports came in about the Penske
truck, and officers were advised to use caution if they found the truck.
There is a report of a hit-and-run around 5:13 pm (EDT), but no
connection is made to the bombing. Two more reports of suspicious
packages are mentioned later on, and there are reports of a suspicious
black backpack in a nearby CVS Pharmacy. Another camouflage backpack is
left at an “ER”.
At 5:22 pm (EDT) someone asks if there’s an update on the Penske truck.
“Be advised. We got a truck stopped in the middle of the common. We’re
taking people out of it. We’re trying to check with them. Anything
further on that Penske truck?”
“Negative,” dispatch replies. “Nothing further. Is this a Penske truck?”
Someone else comes on the line and asks
about the location of the officer at the Boston Common. Another voice
confirms the location, adding the officer is on the Charles Street side.
We then hear that someone is in-route to the Boston Common on south
Charles Street; presumably near Boylston Street.
Now I cannot be sure if the following
truck mentioned is the same truck on the south-side of Charles Street,
but here’s what is said. “That truck has been cleared by a bomb dog.
Apparently it’s a delivery van or a pick-up van, uh, just mysteriously
appeared. it has been secured. it is clean.” Watch the video and note
the tone in the officer’s voice.
Soon after that, we hear a request for an ambulance
needed at the Boston Common. “…can we have an ambulance… into the
common. Possible heart attack.” Dispatch informs the officer an
ambulance is already on its way.
There are many reports
of suspicious packages throughout the day on the Boston Police, Fire,
EMS live audio feed. Eventually it is believed that the suspect may be
posing as a victim in a hospital. The young male suspect allegedly had a
student-visa. I did catch one mention of a suspect detained on the live
feed, but a lot of what’s being said is radio-lingo, so it would be
nice to have some insight on the video below; I set my camera up to
catch the live audio feed. Perhaps there’s something I missed. Check it
out for yourself.
The Boston Globe tweeted police
will have controlled explosion on the 600 block of Boylston Street.”
This is after the first two explosions, when the police apparently
detonated an explosive device they found nearby. There appear to be many
explosive devices and suspicious packages found throughout the day in
Boston.
University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach Alastair Stevenson noticed something suspicious before the marathon that day. He told AL.com:
“At the starting line this morning,
they had bomb sniffing dogs and the bomb squad out there,” he said.
“They kept announcing to runners not to be alarmed, that they were
running a training exercise.” He added, “I’ve run a lot of races like
this one, but I never saw bomb dogs at the starting line of any running
event. It led me to believe that something like (a bomb detonation)
might have happened.”

Stevenson, speaking with various news
sources at the event, told one Alabama publication about what he
witnessed during the race. While managing to finish the race before the
explosions were in range of him or his bystander wife, Stevenson
revealed some interesting information that makes sense of some Boston
Globe tweets from earlier regarding bomb drills — which had been going
on around the time of the actual explosions themselves and therefore may
have confused police and emergency response.
In the article, Stevenson is recorded as saying:

In fact, the eyewitness runner says that there were already a major presence of bomb sniffing dogs and even a bomb squad.

Likely due to the perceived drill that
was set to go on right before the actual explosion in the same area,
the runner detailed how there was already a large presence of bomb
sniffing dogs and even a bomb squad right nearby beforethe
explosions hit. In fact, they had told the competitors and the fans that
it was simply a drill — until they realized that real people were being
injured and killed.
(CNN) -- A massive explosion at a fertilizer plant
in the small Texas town of West left at least two people dead, sent
dozens more seeking medical attention and prompted a widescale
evacuation in the community of 2,600 people.
Fire officials fear that the number of casualties could rise much higher.
The blast took place at the West Fertilizer Plant, about 18 miles north of Waco. It sent a massive fireball into the sky
And the danger may not be over.
Residents are being evacuated because officials are worried that another tank at the facility might explode.
State troopers in gas masks were scene rushing to the area shortly after the blast,
Shortly after the
explosion, more than 60 patients streamed into Hillcrest Hospital in
Waco, suffering from "blast injuries, orthopedic injuries (and) a lot of
lacerations," said hospital CEO Glenn Robinson.
While some of the injuries are minor, others are "quite serious," he said.
At least six helicopters
are going to fly out those who are injured, Robinson said. Others are
being transported by ambulance, and some are getting to the hospital by
car, he added.
Two other hospitals in the region were also assisting.
As many scrambled to assist the injured, another danger seemed to emerge Wednesday night.
"What we are hearing is
that there is one fertilizer tank that is still intact at the plant, and
there are evacuations in place to make sure everyone gets away from the
area safely in case of another explosion," said Ben Stratmann, a
spokesman for Texas State Sen. Brian Birdwell.

-- which reportedly happened around 7:50 p.m. (8:50 p.m. ET) -- showed a
huge blaze and flames leaping over the roof of a structure and a plume
of smoke rising high into the air.
The West Fertilizer Plant is just north of Waco. A school and a nursing home are among the buildings near the plant, CNN affiliate KWTX reported.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry said he is aware of the explosion, a spokesman said, and was working to get resources into the area.
Tommy Alford, who works
in a convenience store about three miles from the plant, told CNN that
several volunteer firefighters were at the store when they spotted
smoke. Alford said the firefighters headed toward the scene and then
between five and 10 minutes later, he heard a massive explosion.
"It was massive; it was intense," Alford said.
Chrystal Anthony, a nearby resident, said she saw the flames engulf a nursing home and an apartment complex.
"It was an apartment complex that was devastated, the nursing home. The fire was close to a residential area," Anthony said.
"It was like a bomb went
off," said Barry Murry, a resident who lives about a mile away from the
plant. "There were emergency vehicles everywhere. It has been
overwhelming."
West, Texas, is a community of about 2,800 people, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
Sitting about 75 miles
south of Dallas and 120 miles north of Austin, West is one of 22
incorporated communities in McLennan County.

The Bermuda Triangle: mysterious,
unworldly, sometimes deadly. For decades intrepid researchers delved
into the maze of mysteries hidden deep within this most enigmatic place
on Earth.
Some speculate the bizarre time
anomalies, disappearances and weird phenomena can be explained by
natural occurrences Others are insistent that relics of an advanced,
unknown culture left behind fantastic technology…great energy machines
that literally warp space time and open portals to other realities.
Now American and French explorers have
made a monumental discovery: a partially translucent,
crystal-like pyramid rising from the Caribbean seabed— its origin, age
and purpose completely unknown.
A gigantic structure, perhaps larger than
the Great Pyramid of Cheops in Egypt, and initially identified by a
doctor in the 1960s, has been independently verified by diving teams
from France and the U.S.
The discovery has rocked scientists
around the world. Will they rush to investigate it? No, they’re more
likely to studiously ignore it. If pressed, they’ll officially position
themselves as highly skeptical—especially in light of the potential
ramifications.
The pyramid could confirm some engineers’ contentions that pyramids were
originally created as massive power sources, support the claim that the
ancient city-state of Atlantis did exist, or even provide answers to
the mysterious goings-on that have been recorded since the 19th Century
in the region of the Atlantic dubbed the Bermuda Triangle.
First discovered in 1968
According to the history, the pyramid was
accidentally discovered during 1968 by a doctor of naturopathy, Ray
Brown of Mesa, Arizona.
Brown was in the Caribbean on vacation
and making dives with friends in a region off the Bahamas known as “the
Tongue of the Ocean.” The area acquired that name because a
tongue-shaped portion of the seabed extends out from the island before
sharply dropping off into much greater depths.
When relating his discovery, the doctor
explained he became separated from his diving friends underwater. While
attempting to rejoin them he came upon a massive structure rising from
the ocean floor: a black, hulking object silhouetted against the lighter
sun-filtered water. The object was shaped like a pyramid.
Because he was low on air, he didn't spend much time investigating the pyramid, but did find a strange crystal sphere.
Is the crystal pyramid causing the Triangle phenomena?
Some Triangle researchers have theorized for years that a strange energy source exists at the bottom of the sea within the region of the ocean affecting planes, ships, and boats.
A few investigators postulate that if the
fabled Atlantis really did exist the remains of its
mythical energy-vortex machine might still be intact at the bottom of
the ocean. Such a machine, they claim, would likely be pyramidal-shaped
and the original historical template that succeeding cultures around the
globe copied much later.
Mysterious pyramids scattered across the world
Pyramid structures have been discovered
across North, Central, and South America; Eastern Europe; the icy tundra
of Siberia; Northern and Central China; and possibly Antarctica. The
South Pole pyramid cannot be confirmed as it’s deep under more than a
mile of ice and images of it are controversial.
Years ago, mysterious ruins—the vestiges of an unknown culture—were discovered on a small island called Malden in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The ruins were claimed to also have the remains of an ancient pyramid.
Believers in the ancient land of Lemuria
(also called Mu) proposed that the ruins might be all that were left of
that ancient land, while others speculated it might have been an outpost
colony of Atlantis.
An anthropologist from the Bishop Museum
in Honolulu, Hawaii explored the ruins back in 1924 and found nopyramid.
What scientist Kenneth Emory did
find, however, was evidence that a small Polynesian tribe once settled
there briefly, perhaps no further back in time than the 16th Century.
Despite that finding, more revelations were to come from the tiny island during the ensuing years.
Reporting on some of Williamson’s amazing findings,
Rich Hoffman, explorer and investigator, writes: “There are 40 stone
temples on Malden Island that are described as similar in design to the
buildings of Nan Madol on Pohnpei, some 3,400 miles (5,475 km) away. In
fact, there is a basalt road that runs along the bottom of the Pacific
Ocean which connects these islands under hundreds of feet of water.
“This suggests a culture that is more
than 50,000 years old and that this entire land mass was once above
watersupporting a civilization that had no trouble moving around
tremendous stones to build very large, complicated societies which we
know absolutely nothing about, other than the fact that someone built
them and they are older than biblical history.
“Yet, nobody discusses them because they
don’t fit into our understanding of the human race and their origins.
Scientists have their diffusion theories of how migrants arrived in
North America using the land bridge of the Bering Straight and they are
sticking with it.”
The same can be said of the scattered
ruins of the Caribbean that suggest a very large civilization extending
from the coastal waters off the Florida Keys, toward the Bahamian
waters, crossing near Bimini, and east into the Atlantic.
Cuba too has underwater ruins off its coast that may have been part of the same city-state complex.
Hoffman also mentions, almost in passing,
the incredible report of explorer Tony Benik who made the momentous
discovery of yet another huge pyramid under 10,000 feet of water in the
middle of the Atlantic.
The pyramid, Benik claims, is capped with a huge crystal.
And if that’s not enough, Hoffman shares
the discovery of the Ari Marshall expedition in 1977. The team
discovered a smaller pyramid off Cay Sal in the Bahamas. Marshall
snapped underwater photos of the pyramidthat’s submerged beneath 150
feet of water.
According to Marshall’s account the
mystery pyramid glows. He also reported the water around the pyramid was
luminescent and glistening white water flowed out of openings in
the pyramid.
Despite the water at that depth being
dark (not much light reaches that far down), the water surrounding the
amazing pyramid was lit by the glow from the structure and appeared like
a phosphoresent green color.
No follow-up exploration has ever been done of the find.
Properties of crystal pyramids
Some theories of Atlantis propose the
island city’s power pyramids were made of crystal, or their tops were
capped with a crystalline substance.
Could such a thing actually generate, store, and distribute energy on demand? Yes.
Experimenters discovered decades ago that
pyramids do tend to act in some ways like a natural electrical
capacitor gathering and storing energy around them. The larger the
pyramid, the greater the capacity of gathering and storing energy. A
pyramid’s composition is important too. Having one made of crystal, or
an apex made of crystal, could vastly increase its power.
Crystal has long been known to have energy applications and exhibits natural piezoelectrical properties.
Early radio used germanium crystals to
capture the radio waves and convert them into electrical signals that
could be processed and broadcast through headphones into sound
waves duplicating the human voice, music, and other sounds.
Pyramid power, say investigators, is
intrinsic to the pyramid shape. It’s an architecture that’s proven to
function as an energy accumulator and amplifier of energetic force.
As if to prove the investigators’
assertions true, recently some of the worlds pyramids began discharging

The bottom line? Pyramids are intrinsically natural generators of power.
